Episode 23 features, Brooke Pancake Rende who thrived as a Junior Golfer in Tennessee winning the Tennessee State Championship Individually 4x, winning the NCAA D1 National Team Championship & Runner-up Individually with Alabama in 2012 making a clutch 6-8 footer on the final hole, to then earning status on the LPGA Tour as a professional, to becoming a mom of three, and now co-founding Back 9 Golf, a junior golf development consulting business. Brooke Pancake does it all, and you will hear about it all on Episode 23 of the Coach Mo Golf Show!

During her time at Baylor High School, Rende led the team to five state championships while winning four individual state championships individually, the only player in TSSAA history to take state medalist honors four years in a row. She also held the 36 hole scoring record for the state championship. At the age of 17, she was inducted into the Tennessee Women's Golf Hall of Fame.

At the University of Alabama, where she was a four time All-American, Rende led the Crimson Tide to its first ever SEC Championship in her sophomore season and first ever NCAA regional title during her junior year. In 2012, her six-foot putt on the 72nd hole of the NCAA Championship gave Bama its first and only national championship. Rende would finish national runner- up individually. For her accomplishments on the course, Rende was named the SEC female athlete of the year in 2012, the first golfer in SEC history to win the award. And was awarded the Roy F. Kramer Award, given to the top female athlete in the conference. Outside of the SEC, Rende was the recipient of the Honda Sports Award for the 2011-12 season, given to the top female golfer in the country, and was the number one ranked player by Golfweek during her junior and senior years.

During her college years, Rende was also noted for academic achievements, holding a 4.0 GPA her entire collegiate career. She was a three time winner of the SEC Women’s Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year and the National Golf Coaches Association Scholar Athlete Award, was twice awarded the Edith Cummings Monson Golf Award and was the recipient of the Elite 89 Award. After her senior year, Rende was recognized as the Capital One Academic All-American of the year, awarded to the top student-sportsperson in the country, the first athlete from the University of Alabama and the first female golfer from any school to win the award. She was also selected for the NCAA Top 10 Award, given by the NCAA to ten athletes, male or female, that attain elite status in their sport, classroom, and the community. 

In the amateur ranks, Rende was a semi-finalist at the 2011 US Amateur, and had the best record on the US Curtis Cup team in 2012. She made her professional debut at the 2012 US Women's Open, immediately following a captured national championship title and Curtis Cup debut. She enjoys a strong presence on the LPGA Tour, competing full time since her rookie year in 2013. But has recently been on maternity leave enjoying her time at home with her young family. 

During her time away from competition, she has sparked a passion with truly guiding and mentoring younger players. She loves to help players and families through all of the knowledge and experience she has gathered over her career from junior golf, recruiting, college, and professional golf.
